YELLOW "FREE PARKING" PLACARDS AVAILABLE NOW
Current placards are YELLOW and will expire June 30, 2012. Please exchange your orange placard when getting a new one. You must display a placard (available at the circulation desk) on your dashboard. The placards are ONLY valid at designated meters along the side of the library -- NOT at any other meters. And fines for violations are doubled! For more information, call the circulation desk at 724-222-2400 x 222.
BOOK-OF-THE-MONTH
 The book drawing for May will be The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan. Register at the main desk; the drawing will be held at month's end.

8TH ANNUAL AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
Friends of Citizens Library announce its 8th annual Amateur Photo Contest in the following categories: people, outdoor scenes, animals, and other. Fees for entries are $5 per photo/$10 for 3 with entry deadline to be May 19. Winners will be announced at the end of May. There will also be a "People's Choice" award, based on voting by the public in June. (See the entry form under "Friends of the Library" to the right)
